„ZARAZA” – treasures of Romanian music with tenor ŞTEFAN von KORCH and guests
"Constantin Tanase" Theater - Savoy Hall
November 27, 2026 at 7:00 PM
Tenor Ştefan von Korch brings tradition to the public in a special event-concert, in which the values that have shaped the heroic profile of the Romanian people throughout history are intertwined. Love - in all its forms - tender, ardent and ultimately fulfilled, longing and sorrow, but also courage and tenacity, will be evoked through interwar pieces, doinas, outlaw songs, but also through lieds and arias from the beloved Romanian operettas in the recital "Zaraza." The program will move through the sentimental interpretations of the host tenor Ştefan von Korch and will gain drama through the voice of baritone Adrian Mărcan, and pianist Alexandru Mihai Burcă will complete the event with magical touches of the keys.
Tenor Ştefan von Korch, the host and artistic coordinator of the Musical Extravaganza season, details: «we invite you to a sensitive concert with special nuances in which pieces like "Zaraza," "Oh, my little heart," "Put the moon in the cloud, Lord" or "Poor musician" will outline a true Romanian musical profile, a vibrant musical portrait, in which tradition and emotion meet in a show with authentic resonances.»
