Trei pisici misto si un pianist

 

   THREE COOL CATS is a musical improvisation show, during which improvising actors build comedy scenes and stories, starting from audience suggestions. Each scene constitutes a "challenge" and starts from audience interaction. There is a presenter who leads and sometimes joins the story. Songs and rhymes are born on the spot, with the aim of moving the scene and the story forward. The actors can approach different styles and genres, depending on the story and the audience's preferences, from rap to light music, or from opera to... trap. "This sounds like a song", "Opera", "Song on demand" are just some of the scenes the actors will perform, accompanied by the pianist.

   Doina Antohi is an actress, director, improviser, and most often, a mezzo-soprano. She is a member of the Improvisneyland troupe. She acts, improvises, directs, and sings whenever she has the chance. Fun fact: she has a cat named Farfuriuță. You can recognize her from the shows "Men Who Save Women" and "Power Games".

   The tenor of the cat troupe, Pavel Bârsan, is an actor and improviser, a member of the Improvisneyland improvisation troupe. He has acted in successful series such as "Atletico Textila" and "Mangalița". Fun fact: he has never been drunk. You also recognize him from Teatrul Roșu comedies, "My Husband's Fantasies", "The Other Wife", "Good Women for Crazy Men", or "Troublemakers".

   Iulian Sfircea gives depth to the harmonies with his bass-baritone range. He is an actor, improviser, trainer, plays guitar, and has a real talent for imitation. He is part of the Backstage Boys troupe. Fun facts: He is from Babadag and makes scientific manele, such as "Gravitational Waves".

   But none of this would have been possible without Marian Hâncu, our fantastic pianist. Although he only has one keyboard and a microphone, he brings an entire orchestra to the stage. He has been making music and musical improvisation for over 20 years. Fun fact: when he was little, he played the accordion.
