Following the extraordinary success of the preview, which was a Sold Out, we invite you to the OFFICIAL PREMIERE of the most ambitious theatrical project signed by director Toma Enache and producer Pepino Popescu.

A story as grand as a play. The story of Romeo and his Juliet.

The world's most famous love story returns in a spectacular production by Toma Enache, creator of the success A Lost Letter, made with the same artistic team and the same producer.

This is the team's most extensive and ambitious project, a show that brings back the power of authentic classical theater in an impressive visual experience.

By using 8 projection screens and 3 video projectors, the stage transforms into a living universe, where Verona and the love story of the two come to life right before the spectators' eyes.

A fusion between theater and film, where emotion is experienced live, and the image gains the scope of cinema.

The cast brings together established actors, important names from the National Theatre Bucharest, and a new generation of remarkable artists. The entire cast also participates in the choruses of the performance – the Capulet Family Chorus and the Montague Family Chorus.

Director's Message

Toma Enache:

"A play in which Shakespeare spoke to us as early as 1594–1595 about love – that love we need today to end the ancient hatred between warring nations.

Romeo and Juliet is an exercise in taming hearts:

but also of those who are waiting to love."
