A musical gift for the holidays: The "Oleg Danovski" National Theatre of Opera and Ballet invites the public to "Christmas Concert"
The National Theatre of Opera and Ballet „Oleg Danovski” Constanța invites the public to one of the most anticipated events of December: „Christmas Concert”, a show dedicated to the joy of the holidays, the music, and the emotion that accompanies this special time of year.
The concert will take place Wednesday, December 23, 2026, starting at 18:30, on the stage of Colegiul National de Arte “Regina Maria”, and will transform the performance hall into a space of meeting, tradition, and festive atmosphere.
On the eve of Christmas, music gains a special significance. "Christmas Concert" offers the public an evening built around the beauty of voices, emotion, and the repertoire that accompanies the spirit of the holidays, in an artistic encounter for the whole family.
The event brings together on the same stage acclaimed lyric artists of the National Opera and Ballet Theatre “Oleg Danovski” Constanța, in a generous cast: Laura Eftimie, Nicoleta Ardelean, Silvia Simionescu, Mihaela Ionescu, Lucia Mihalache, Răzvan Săraru, Doru Iftene, Mădălin Băldău, Cristian Caragea, Daniel Pop, Marius Eftimie and Mihai Teodoru.
„Christmas Concert” is part of the tradition of events through which the „Oleg Danovski” National Opera and Ballet Theatre brings to the public, during the holiday season, performances meant to create a special atmosphere and transform the encounter with the artists into a memorable experience. It is a moment of respite before the holidays, an invitation to set aside the daily hustle and bustle for a few hours and rediscover the joy of an evening spent in the company of music.
Through the „Christmas Concert”, the theatre wishes to offer the Constanța audience an artistic gift before the holidays: an evening of music, light, and emotion, where the spirit of Christmas meets the beauty of the lyrical stage.
