The "Oleg Danovski" National Theatre of Opera and Ballet Constanța invites the public to an Opera, Operetta and Musical Gala
The "Oleg Danovski" National Theatre of Opera and Ballet Constanța continues the 2026–2027 season with an evening dedicated to the most beloved pages of the lyrical repertoire and musical theatre: the Opera, Operetta and Musical Gala.
The show will take place on Sunday, November 22, 2026, at 18:30, on the stage of National College of Arts „Regina Maria” in Constanța, and offers the public a spectacular encounter with the music of composers and creators who have marked the history of the international lyrical stage.
A single evening, multiple musical genres, and a gallery of memorable characters, from great opera arias to the charm of operetta and the energy of the musical, emotion transmitted directly to the audience, and the power of a song to remain in memory.
The gala offers the opportunity to rediscover, in a single performance, the diversity of the repertoire approached by the artists of the National Opera and Ballet Theatre „Oleg Danovski”, in a program designed to highlight both the vocal virtuosity and the scenic expressiveness of the performers.
At the conductor's podium will be Constantin Grigore – Bucharest, who will conduct The Orchestra of the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet „Oleg Danovski” Constanța.
On stage will be appreciated soloists of the theater, in a cast that brings together the artistic experience and energy of representative performers for the lyrical stage: Laura Eftimie, Nicoleta Ardelean, Silvia Simionescu, Mihaela Ionescu, Lucia Mihalache, Răzvan Săraru, Doru Iftene
Mădălin Băldău, Cristian Caragea, Daniel Pop, Marius Eftimie and Mihai Teodoru.
Throughout the evening, the audience will be able to discover the contrasts and similarities between the three genres, in a program that celebrates voice, orchestra, and the art of performance. From the drama of opera and the elegance of operetta to the spontaneity and energy of the musical, each moment will bring a different perspective on musical theater.
Through this Opera, Operetta, and Musical Gala, the "Oleg Danovski" National Opera and Ballet Theater continues its endeavor to bring great music closer to the public and to present, in an accessible and spectacular form, the diversity of the lyrical and musical theater repertoire.
