WonderTheatre announces a new premiere for the whole family, the comedy "A Two-Penny Farce" with Dragoș Huluba, Cătălina Grama Jojo, Andrei Mateiu, Paula Chirilă, Paul Ipate and Maria Obretin.
The show is directed by Răzvan Oprea who also signs the translation and adaptation of the text by Marc Fayet, one of the most awarded French comedy authors.
Three couples, a rented vacation home and the tradition of vacations together, cool, bourgeois and full of nice stories mean a recipe for a beautiful friendship. When 2.20 euros are left on a table in the vacation home as a test, their miraculous disappearance generates a wave of confessions that puts their vacation in danger.
To the surprise and amusement of the audience, this minuscule sum makes possible the destruction of friendships, the creation of alliances, the activation of atrocious forms of greed and selfishness.
What happens will surprise even the author of the farce because the "disaster in the couple", always swept under the rug, somehow manages to explode exactly when you don't want the "dirty laundry to be washed" alongside friends.
The audience laughs and learns its lesson in a comedy written by Marc Fayet that has been playing in France for many years with great success.
