Soul Serenade is composed of two musicians who combine styles and aesthetics from the musical history of the United States, in a pure acoustic format, being particularly influenced by blues, jazz & swing, specific to the '30s and '40s.
Adelina Chivu: Cultivating an intense concert and academic activity, Adelina Chivu has defined a very personal musical identity. With vast influences ranging from Billie Holiday to Sarah Vaughan to Bessie Smith, the artist's focus has always been on the expressiveness that comes through timbre and dynamics.
Andrei Rotariu: A musician with an endless curiosity for music and sound, Andrei Rotariu has forged his own path in an often very standardized environment. A clear characteristic of the artist is to (re)introduce the acoustic jazz guitar into an ensemble, with an extremely versatile role. His interest in the pure timbre of the instrument leads him to new and new aesthetic explorations.
