„O scrisoare pierdută" by I.L. Caragiale, the cornerstone of Romanian comedy, is reborn on stage in a staging that faithfully preserves the original spirit of the masterpiece. This premiere does not bring modernizations, reinterpretations or contemporary artifices: the sets, costumes and atmosphere are rendered with the same nobility and authenticity that have fascinated generations.

On stage, the audience will find Trahanache and Zoe, Tipătescu and Cațavencu, Farfuridi, Brânzovenescu and the famous drunken citizen, in vibrant interpretations that bring the classic text to life.

The cast is exceptional:

Marius Rizea – Ghiță Pristanda

Director Toma Enache meticulously constructs a theatrical world faithful to Caragiale's vision, and the scenography signed by Vladimir Turturică and the costumes created by Doina Levintza complete the charm of an era in which political intrigues and fine humor remain just as relevant today.

The show thus becomes an invitation to step, for a few hours, into the world of the old provincial fair, where each line, gesture, and detail breathes the authenticity of times gone by.
