„Here is the dead man, he is not the dead man”
A police comedy in three acts (and countless headaches)

County Council Hall Buzau
Paris, the '70s. In a boring notary office, smelling of old files, limoncello, and reheated coffee, a corpse appears. Or at least, that's what everyone thinks... The chief inspector arrives to investigate, but he's more concerned with his cold pills and his nerves than with the case. He's sick, he's irritated, and he can't stand fools – which is a problem, because everyone seems to be exactly that. Especially his assistant, the agent accompanying him.
The office employees are busy with essential things: lying, pretending to be innocent, and not appearing to hide anything (although they are all hiding something). In the general chaos, the only one who seems to have two functional neurons is the secretary. She's not a detective, but she's seen enough bad movies to know how this works. And, with an almost unhealthy calm, she begins to piece things together, while the rest stumble over them.
„Here is the dead man, he is not the dead man” is a police comedy about murder, confusion, stupid lies, and a Paris where nothing is what it seems – especially the corpses. With a fast pace, sharp dialogue, and a finale that makes no sense... until it does, „Here is the dead man, he is not the dead man” is a carousel that takes you between comedy and suspense for 2 hours.
