Synopsis:
In this stage production, the text, already known to the public through the famous film adaptation with actors Jude Law, Natalie Portman, Julia Roberts, and Clive Owen, becomes even more powerful, more personal, and more natural.
In an intimate space, where the distance between actors and spectators almost disappears, the story draws closer to the viewer, and the characters no longer seem merely observed, but painfully familiar.
A writer, a stripper, a photographer, and a doctor become entangled in an exchange of attractions, relationships, and betrayals that draw them together and destroy them one by one.
CLOSER is a play about intimacy as a battlefield, about how we use love to be seen, chosen, possessed, or saved. When does sincerity no longer liberate, but destroy?
Dan, Alice, Anna, and Larry enter a dangerous game of seduction and truths told too late.
