The Scandalmongers
"The Scandalmongers" – a show that reveals to the public what happens backstage when the curtain falls.
We all love the world of theater! For actors, it's a way of life, a passion! But when passion meets the real world, things degenerate into… comedy! Intrigues, loves, jealousies, threats, madness and art – all mixed among the five actors obliged by their profession to put up with each other, coordinated by a director addicted to art and… sedatives!
Two young married people go on a trip to the vacation home to enjoy a romantic night… each with a different partner. The meeting of the characters is explosive, or at least that's how it should turn out according to the script, if the actors who play the roles don't bring their problems from real life on stage, in front of the audience.
A panicked director, on the verge of the premiere, realizing that he is working with a handful of chaotic people, interested in anything else, except for the play they are rehearsing.
Five actors, extremely different and with the most diverse problems, who forget to enter the fairytale world of the theater and bring the secrets of the profession into the real world.
A show in which the actors Pavel Bârsan, Livia Taloi, Adelina Mihalcea, Diana Bagdasar/Isabela Chitoșca, Alin Brancu and Andrei Necula can be watched, each interpreting more than one role, directed by Alin Brancu (also known for the shows "Divorce on the wedding day", "My husband's fantasies", "Double distilled love", "The other woman" or "Bachelor at 40").
