"Protocol for a Disaster", after Yasmina Reza, starts elegantly and ends devastatingly... amusing.
Two "civilized" parent couples meet to diplomatically resolve a fight between their children. What begins with coffee, politeness and good manners quickly turns into a massacre of egos.
Social masks fall, alliances fall apart, and the apartment becomes a battlefield where alcohol and unspoken truths reveal the "beast" in each, in a delicious duel in which no one plays "nicely".
With acid humor and fine analysis, the comedy "Protocol for a Disaster" explores the limits of tolerance in a current story about relationships, appearances and human nature.
