Here's the dead guy, the dead guy isn't here
Police Comedy in three acts (and countless headaches)
May 26, 2026, 7:00 PM
Paris, the 70s. In a boring notary office, smelling of old files, "afinata" (a type of Romanian liquor) and reheated coffee, a corpse appears. Or at least that's what everyone thinks... The chief inspector comes to investigate, but he's more concerned with his cold pills and his nerves than the case. He's sick, he's irritated and he can't stand idiots - which is a problem, because everyone seems to be exactly like that. Especially his assistant, the agent who accompanies him.
The employees of the office are busy with essential things: to lie, to pretend to be innocent and not to seem to be hiding anything (although everyone is hiding something). In the general chaos, the only one who seems to have two functional neurons is the secretary. She's not a detective, but she's seen enough bad movies to know how this works. And, with an almost unhealthy calm, she begins to put the clues together, while the rest stumble over them.
"Look, the dead man, he's not dead" is a detective comedy about crime, confusion, stupid lies and a Paris where nothing is what it seems – especially the corpses. With a fast pace, acid lines and an ending that makes no sense... until it does, "Look, the dead man, he's not dead" is a carousel that takes you between comedy and suspense for 2 hours.
