Dragobete by candlelight with the Fortissimi Quartet
The Fortissimi Quartet invites you to a very special concert, part of the new project Fortissimi Concerts, which brings Romanian music in a fairytale setting, by the light of thousands of candles. In a warm and elegant ambiance, the impressive decor and the delicate play of lights create the perfect atmosphere for a memorable artistic experience.
The evening's program brings together some of the most beloved Romanian works and refrains, reinterpreted in the unmistakable style of the Fortissimi Quartet. The audience will enjoy exceptional musical moments such as Balada, Ciuleandra, Ciocârlia, Gramofon, Hora Staccato, Rapsodia Română, but also many other musical surprises, signed by great composers such as Eugen Doga, Grigoraș Dinicu, Ciprian Porumbescu, Iosif Ivanovici, Gheorghe Zamfir and many others.
The evening will be completed by special guests, the accordionist Mihai Tirnovshci, who will take you on a journey full of nostalgia through the music of the tango of yesteryear, adding a touch of charm and refinement to the concert. At the same time, the two professional ballet dancers, Agatha Olah and Ivan Stoian, will bring the music to life through elegant choreographic moments, transforming the concert into a real show.
The story of the Fortissimi Quartet begins in the year 2017, at the initiative of violinist Bogdan Costache, at which point the first chords take shape and an artistic journey in continuous ascent is outlined. Today, the Fortissimi Quartet is considered one of the most appreciated young quartets in Romania, made up of professional musicians, invited to perform both on national and international stages.
Its portfolio includes prestigious appearances such as “The Grand Ball of Princess and Princesses” – Monte Carlo, Monaco, The World Exhibition in Dubai and The “Cerbul de Aur” Festival – Brașov.
The passion, jovial energy and emotion conveyed in each stage appearance are already appreciated by the public, and the innovative approach to candlelit concerts offers a special dimension to classical music, film music and the Romanian repertoire, performed with elegance by the Fortissimi Quartet.
