„Enescu, jupuit de viu” (Enescu, Flayed Alive) is the first artistic film dedicated to the life of the legendary composer George Enescu, directed by Toma Enache. The film sensitively and profoundly reconstructs Enescu's inner turmoil — not just as an artist, but also as a man.

The cast is remarkable: Mircea Dragoman plays George Enescu, and Theodora Sandu plays Princess Maruca. Alongside them appear well-known actors such as Cezara Dafinescu, Manuela Hărăbor, Adrian Titieni, Cristian Sofron, Kira Hagi, Pavel Ulici, Filip Ristovski, Erica Moldovan and the late Constantin Codrescu.

The costumes were made by the Italian Stefano Nicolao, known for his collaborations on Oscar productions, and the soundtrack combines Enescu's works with original compositions signed by Sebastian Androne-Nakanishi.
The music is performed by the French National Orchestra, conducted by Cristian Măcelaru, and the Romanian National Radio Orchestra, under the baton of Maestro Horia Andreescu.
