WonderTheatre announces a new premiere for the whole family, the comedy “A Two Lei Farce” featuring Dragoș Huluba, Cătălina Grama Jojo, Andrei Mateiu, Paula Chirilă, Paul Ipate, and Maria Obretin.
The show is directed by Răzvan Oprea, who also signs the translation and adaptation of the text by Marc Fayet, one of the most awarded French comedy authors.
Three couples, a rented vacation house, and the tradition of spending vacations together, cool, bourgeois, and full of charming stories means a recipe for a beautiful friendship. When 2.20 euros is left on a little table in the vacation house as a test, their miraculous disappearance generates a wave of confessions that jeopardizes their vacation.
To the surprise but also amusement of the audience, this insignificant amount makes it possible to destroy friendships, create alliances, and activate terrible forms of greed and selfishness.
What happens will surprise even the author of the farce because "the disaster in the couple," always swept under the rug, somehow manages to explode exactly when you don't want "the laundry to be washed" alongside friends.
The audience laughs and learns their lesson in a comedy written by Marc Fayet that has been performed in France for many years with great success.
