🎠Love in 2 acts (and an encore)
February 22, 22027 at 19:00
Palace of Culture Targu Mures
An odyssey of love told through the music of the world.
With Maia Morgenstern, Marius Bodochi and Moldavia Symphony Orchestra
We invite you to the show Love in 2 acts (and an encore). A show about love. About loves lived, dreamed, lost, or merely touched in passing. A different kind of Don Juan, a traveler through worlds and hearts, tells his stories — each with its own music, its own city, its own woman.
🎠Marius Bodochi and Maia Morgenstern bring these characters to life: he, the wandering lover, a tender, ironic, or melancholic narrator; she, all the beloved women — transitioning with magnetism and strength from comedy to drama, from a whisper to a storm.
The text of the play combines fragments of poetry, prose, and monologues, inspired by classical and contemporary literature, which give voice and depth to the love stories told in the performance.
🎻 Music is the common thread of the journey: famous themes from film, opera, jazz, tango, chanson, and waltz, reinterpreted with refinement by the Moldavia Symphony Orchestra – an ensemble composed of professional musicians, artists of the contemporary Iasi stage, recognized for their versatility and expressiveness, united by a passion for music and performance.
From the melancholy of La vie en rose to the drama in Once Upon a Time in America, from the seduction of Piazzolla's tango to the exuberance of Zorba, from the refinement of Eugen Doga to the rock explosion of Bohemian Rhapsody.
🔔 A symphonic theatrical adventure full of humor, music, and love – in 2 acts (and an encore).
